چکیده

The exploitation of underground coal resources has stepped up local economic and social development significantly. However, it was inevitable that time-dependent surface settlement would occur above the mined-out voids. Subsidence associated with geo-mining can last from several months to scores years seriously impact infrastructure, city planning, space utilization. This paper addresses problems in predicting progressive residual subsidence. subsidence process divided into three phases: a duration period, long-term period. Then, novel mathematical model calculating proposed based on logistic time function. After period extrapolated according threshold sinking rate. validation for estimated light observed situ data. results demonstrate function is an ideal reflecting features downward movement, rate, acceleration. coefficient, which plays crucial role settling, varies directly parameters inversely time. influence amount data predicted values pronounced. Analysis on the Improved Time Function Model of Surface Subsidence

The surface subsidence process induced by underground coal mining is a dynamic process, but the existing time function models can’t reflect the regularity of surface subsidence with time properly. By investigating the whole development process of subsidence, subsidence velocity and subsidence acceleration with time, a new time function model is presented that takes the dynamic characteristics i...

mortality forecasting based on lee-carter model

over the past decades a number of approaches have been applied for forecasting mortality. in 1992, a new method for long-run forecast of the level and age pattern of mortality was published by lee and carter. this method was welcomed by many authors so it was extended through a wider class of generalized, parametric and nonlinear model. this model represents one of the most influential recent d...

Key Technology of Predicting Dynamic Surface Subsidence Based on Knothe Time Function

A method for calculating the parameter of Knothe time function was presented. The principle of predicting dynamic mining subsidence was discussed based to the relationship between the periodic fractures of main roof and surface subsidence. Pointed out there might be a section whose width was shorter than a mining unit when divided a workface into n equal mining elements, the section should be c...

Determination of the height of destressed zone above the mined panel: An ANN model

The paper describes an artificial neural network (ANN) model to predict the height of destressed zone (HDZ) which is taken as equivalent to the combined height of caved and fractured zones above the mined panel in longwall mining. For this, the suitable datasets have been collected from the literatures and prepared for modeling. The data were used to construct a multilayer perceptron (MLP) netw...
